DAI Solutions founder and CEO Dr. Sheri Dougherty will be a featured panelist at the Florida GovCon Summit 2017 on Wednesday and Thursday, March 29-30 in Tampa. The summit will bring together small businesses operating in Florida under the theme of “Teaming for the Bigger Federal Deals.”

The conference will feature various panels and breakout sessions where attendees will have the chance to learn about technology trends, cybersecurity, business development, prime contracting, business valuation, pricing, joint ventures, employee engagement, and more. Participants will be able to set up one-on-one meetings with other attendees to build their professional networks for potential teaming opportunities. The summit also includes Veterans Connections sessions to link transitioning veterans with business and entrepreneurship opportunities.

Sheri will serve on an entrepreneur panel and share her lessons learned and best practices in developing DAI Solutions as a boutique management consulting firm. She will discuss DAI Solutions’ unique approach to business development and teaming with partners on pursuits and contracts, and discuss how organizational culture impacts decision-making. Sheri brings the unique perspective of a DC-based entrepreneur looking to partner with Florida-based firms for expanded federal contracting opportunities.

Keynote speakers for the summit are Sid Fuchs of MacAulay-Brown, who will share his thoughts on building strategic relationships, and Jeff Piersall of i4 Business and Space Coast magazines, who will discuss how collaboration and partnerships drive growth across Florida.
